Both sides, camera or gallery
Scan the front and back of a card, or import a photo you already took. Or type a card in by hand.
All plansPoint your Android phone at a visiting card. Contact Convoy reads it on the phone, AI tidies the fields, and the contact lands in one lead list with its follow-up status, instead of sitting in a drawer or a WhatsApp photo.
Four steps, and you check every field before anything is saved.
Open the app and tap Scan. Capture the front, and the back if the card is printed on both sides. Already took a photo at the stall? Pick it from your gallery instead.
Text recognition runs on the phone itself, so it keeps working on weak exhibition Wi-Fi. It reads English and Devanagari scripts.
AI fixes misread characters and places each detail in the right field: name, designation, company, phones, emails, address and website. You review and edit before saving.
The contact joins your lead list. Mark it Hot, Warm, Cold or Done, then call, WhatsApp or email straight from the card.
Many scanner apps stop at turning a card into a contact. Contact Convoy keeps going, because the card is only useful if someone follows up.

All plansAI corrects common reading mistakes and splits phones and emails into their own fields. Running it again on a saved card doesn’t use a Card Credit.
All plans · Free: 30 a monthScanned someone you already met? The app spots the match and lets you log a repeat meeting on the same card, with its meeting history.
All plansIf you have no connection when you save, the scan waits on the phone and uploads when you are back online.
All plansPick the event before you scan and add the stall number, then filter leads and count cards per exhibition afterwards.
Starter and ProAdmins and co-admins see every card the company scans. Employees see the cards they scanned themselves. You pay per company, not per person.
All plansTyping a pile of cards into a spreadsheet after an expo takes an evening and invites typos. On the Pro plan, you select the leads you want, tap Excel, and the app builds a real .xlsx file that you can share by email, WhatsApp or Google Drive.
Hand it to your CRM, your dealers or your accounts team. Each row is one contact, with the follow-up status and the exhibition it came from.
Excel export is included on Pro. On Free and Starter, your cards stay in the app’s lead list.
There are three common ways to turn visiting cards into digital contacts. Each suits a different job.

Google Lens is a good way to grab one number quickly. A scanner app earns its place when a team collects cards every week and needs to follow up on them. On small screens, scroll the table sideways.
Scan every visitor at the stall. On Starter and Pro, tag the expo and stall number and send a thank-you email while they still remember you. Our seven-step trade show playbook walks through a full event.
Scan dealers and buyers on the road, even with a weak signal, and keep a meeting history on each card so the next visit starts where the last one ended.
Install Contact Convoy from Google Play, open it and tap Scan. Photograph the front of the card, and the back if it is printed on both sides, or pick a photo from your gallery. The phone reads the text, AI sorts it into name, designation, company, phone, email, address and website, and you check the fields before you tap Save.
Yes, there is a Free plan with 30 Card Credits a month, 30 AI clean-ups a month and up to 3 users. Each new card you save uses one Card Credit. Starter and Pro add more credits, more users, exhibition tagging and thank-you emails, and Pro adds Excel export. Plans are priced per company, not per user. See pricing for current prices.
Yes, on the Pro plan. Select the leads you want, tap Excel, and the app builds an .xlsx file you can share by email, WhatsApp or Google Drive. It has columns for name, designation, company, phone, email, website, address, products, exhibition, stall number and follow-up status.
Text recognition reads English (Latin script) and Devanagari, the script used for Hindi and Marathi. Cards printed in other Indian scripts are not read yet, but you can type or correct any field before saving.
Not yet. Contact Convoy is an Android app on Google Play. The website is used to sign in, buy plans and manage your account.
Yes. Contact Convoy is built for businesses, so sign-up needs a work email address. Personal email domains are not accepted. You confirm the address with a one-time code, and each new company is reviewed before it goes live.
Contact Convoy runs on Google Cloud in Mumbai. Card photos are kept in private storage and shown through links that expire. AI clean-up sends the card text to cloud AI providers, some of which are outside India; the privacy policy lists them. You can delete your account and data in the app or on the website.
Register your company in the Android app with your work email. The Free plan needs no payment details.
